Is Ms St Claire really John Paul’s father? Hollyoaks’ Annie Wallace reveals all

HOLLYOAKS is known for its shock twists and huge cliffhangers, but this revelation will leave you gobsmacked.

Sally St Claire has been trying to get close to John Paul ever since she turned up in the village.

And although many of us believed she had a crush on the hunky teacher, it turns out she is John Paul’s biological father.

Well we weren’t expecting that.

Annie Wallace, who plays Sally St Claire, exclusively told Daily Star Online: “Sally has come to Hollyoaks to look for her son.

“In her own misunderstood way she is doing anything to be around her son John Paul, even though it has been misconstrued as romantic feelings by many.”

In tonight’s episode viewers will finally see Sally and Myra meet for the first time since the transgender character moved into the village.

But will Myra be forced to reveal the truth to John Paul?

“Myra doesn’t want John Paul to find out, she’s told him that Ricky is his dad,” Annie explained.

“So it’s not just John Paul she’s trying to protect, she’s looking out for herself as well. She doesn’t want this big secret to get out.”

Annie is the first transgender actress to play a transgender character in British soap opera.

She gushed: “It adds a little authenticity to the character. From my perspective I’ve got my dream job.”
