| Thanks for visiting!
I’m currently appearing regularly as Sally St. Claire in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, but I’m also a skilled sound engineer and voice over artist. Based in Manchester, but Scottish by birth, I trained at the Manchester School of Theatre (formerly MMU and the Polytechnic), and then worked in fringe theatre for many years both as sound and lighting designer, and actor, as well as appearing in Channel 4’s Shameless. In 2016 I was the recipient of a BAFTA Scotland nomination for Best Actress – Television, and won a National Diversity Award.

My Studio

| As well as acting on stage and screen, I’m also a musician, recording music for myself, and often composing and designing sound for for theatrical productions. To this end I have a versatile studio at home, utilising both Mac and PC applications such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Sound Forge, QLab and Adobe Audition.
The system is based around a Mac Pro which can dual boot to Windows or Mac OSs, connected to a Behringer X-Touch control surface, Behringer 1820 10-channel interface and using Audio Technica AT2020 and Behringer B2 Pro microphones, amongst others.
The system has two ultrawide monitors for editing and mixing, and a third for video preview when doing video ADR. Two KRK monitors, a pair of Beyer headphones and an Alesis 16-channel input mixer complete the basic setup.
